The survey covered only those who said they knew who they will vote for - and 56.2 percent of those said it will be Serbia's prime minister and leader of the ruling SNS.

This means that the country's new president will be elected in the first round.

Vucic is followed by Luka Maksimovic, aka Ljubisa Preletacevic Beli (9.5 percent), Vuk Jeremic (9.3 percent), Sasa Jankovic (8.9 percent), and Vojislav Seselj (8.8 percent).

The telephone survey was done March 21-27 and included 1,200 respondents.

According to the results, 18 percent are still undecided, while the turnout will be 57 percent.
