Russia and Serbia are linked by traditionally friendly relations, Medvedev says in his message, adding that he is certain that the development of the two countries' cooperation is entirely in the interest of both nations.

Medvedev concluded by wishing Vučić good health, prosperity and success as prime minister.

Vučić and Chepurin discussed "relations between Serbia and Russia, particularly focusing on ways of improving their economic," according to a release from the Serbian government.
