  1. On another note I have found that Albanians and Serbs can be friends as individuals. As societies and states, Serbs and Albanians will never be friends or neutral to each other. They will always antagonize each other. From our point of view its Serbia's fault, from the Serbian point of view its always the Albanians' fault.
I just wish sometimes we had a state like Sweden i between, to act as a buffer. Maybe things would change if that was the case.

  2. "There will be no chance of EU membership until all are intergrated into the system. With the pro western Serb goverment sucking up to the west they will soon be in the EU and Kosovo will be left behind."

Wrong: without Serbian state they will have to integrate. Kosova is begging nicely now but the other option is border control north. If EU wants, Serbia will have to stop encouraging them to stay like this. No cooperation = no Serbian EU integration. Kosova is not ready for EU anyway so Serbia will hurt more.

  3. The albanian IM is quite correct, if the Kosovo Serbs do not except Kosovo status this province will soon become a divided frozen region. There will be no chance of EU membership until all are intergrated into the system. With the pro western Serb goverment sucking up to the west they will soon be in the EU and Kosovo will be left behind. If i was the Kosovo Serbs i would say yes to the K-albanians independence then form breakaway regions as part of serbia. As the EU, US will never recognise any other regions in Serbia being independent theres no worries about the Presevo valley area. (apologies if i have spelt that wrong). This whole thing in Georgia can play in Serbias favour, and i think the K_Albanian goverment know it.

  4. So ten years ago you were happy to kill them but now you want them back?

And when the Serb policeman refuse to become walking targets for the albanians, you can turn to the world and say "See, we tried!"

  5. He said that the suspended Serb policemen were part of Kosovo’s institutions and that it was “our responsibility to do everything possible to protect and support them.”
And you did nothing of a kind, west is looking at your actions and you have to beg Serbs for help now.
Take barbed wires out -make sure no one kills another Serbian kid for the next year or burns and steals Serbian land and maybe then will see about integration you so crave.

  6. When was the last time that Serbia's government made a plea to K-Albanians to solve the problems between them?
    There never was!!
With the ballkan mentality that characterizes most of us here, many will see this plea as a "weakness", while I say Kosova's leaders have enough maturity to call on their tormentors for cooperation for the sake of their own people.
This takes courage and strength, something that is in a great demand in Serbia.

  7. > We are aware of the fact that Serb members of the Kosovo police are under great pressure from the Serbian government and certain political and religious leaders from the Serb community here in Kosovo,

Tell us Mr Pajaziti, have you locked up any of the K-albanians responsible for that attack by a busload of K-albanians on two serb KPS officers last month at Suvi Do?

Thought your constitution guaranteed the rights of minorities?

If serbian members of the KPS aren't safe from K-albanian thugs in the north where serbs are a majority, then what does that say for the safety of ordinary serbs elsewhere in Kosovo.
