1. The howling from the predictable corners is comical.

I daresay Brexit and the Trump presidency maintain fealty with why the West has attributes which receive respect. Whereas Ash, at best, pays lip service to those attributes.

The way forward is to have small groups, instead of larger groups that have an appetite to absorb power from the members.

  2. Dear Mr. Ash:

Please return to the UK and take your opinions based on left wing media propaganda with you.

We have an expression here in the US and your article reminds me of the expression. "opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one, and no one wants to see or hear from it".

  3. B92 received this, and every other article by this author published in the past, directly from the author.

That still doesn't explain why the first publication of this article was not referenced or why the "Source:" field in the header is blank. If B92 and this author can't adhere to basic scholarly principles, then perhaps the author should stop submitting previously published works without reference, or B92 should stop publishing articles by this author.

  5. Why is Ash being invited to write on this site? He does not have anything much that's interesting to contribute.

    ---

Ash wasn't "invited" to write on this site. This article was in fact plagiarized from another publication without proper reference. Ash's Anglo-Saxon rant was first published in the Guardian on July 28th, 2017. Unfortunately, the pseudo - journalistic editor of B92, is unfamiliar with the importance of citations and referencing the primary source of publications. The lack of intellectual rigor by B92 editors is evident in poor decisions on content, as well as corrupt scholarly practice.

  6. Britain does not need reactionary Europhiles like Ash in order to discover a better future than being ruled from Europe.

Brexit will have short and medium term disadvantages, but it will have superior long term benefits.

There is no comparison between Trump and Brexit. However it fits the thought processes of Ash to make one.

Why is Ash being invited to write on this site? He does not have anything much that's interesting to contribute.
